Audience
These two courses (Implementing Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux (Course 3089) and Deploying Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux (Course 3090)) are specifically designed for network professionals wishing to install, configure, and administer Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux. Current Certified Novell Engineers (CNE) will find these two courses contain valuable information necessary for them to transfer their NetWare skills over to Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux as well as prepare them for the Novell Certified Engineer (NCE) exam.

Prerequisites
Students in this course should be current NetWare 6 or Novell Open Enterprise Server NetWare CNEs, or have equivalent experience with the NetWare 6, 6.5, or Open Enterprise Server for NetWare product. This includes strong experience with the following:

• Perform basic server configuration tasks on an Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux server.
• Install and configure Novell Open Enterprise Server services on an Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux server.
• Maintain Novell Open Enterprise Server services on a Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 Linux server
• Understand the process for migrating services and data from NetWare to Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux
