Novell’s SUSE Linux sales skyrocket
The company reported
last week that revenue from Linux Platform Products was up 46% from
the same quarter last year to $15M and Linux-related invoicing was
up a staggering 659% to $91M.
From a struggling infant
Novell have brought the SUSE business up to what now looks like a
healthy contender and it’s still growing. With big name customers
like HSBC, Wall Mart, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank AG and AIG
Technologies signing up almost weekly, Novell seems to be pulling
off its famous phoenix from the ashes trick yet again.

Microsoft to revamp SQL Server 2005 training courses In a response to customer feedback, Microsoft have decided to revamp many of the existing range of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 instructor-led training courses, including the courses M2779 and M2780 shown in the ITS Feda training catalogue and on the ITS Feda website. These courses are to be changed from 3-days to 5-days in May and some of the content altered. Adobe support for Acrobat 8 e-license issues If, when you try to download an e-license for Acrobat 8 for Windows, you see the following message,“An e-license cannot be downloaded because license management has not been set up correctly by your administrator.You can continue working, however, because your grace period has time remaining.” Don’t worry. Help is at hand. |
